About
Dereck joined Grant Capital in April 2024 as the firm’s first Associate Private Wealth Manager, bringing energy and a strong focus on building lasting client relationships. He is passionate about helping clients take the weight of capital management and retirement planning off their shoulders so they can focus on what matters most in life.
A graduate of Northwest Missouri State University, Dereck earned his degree in Business Economics and was recognized by the Cardinal Key Honor Society for scholarship, leadership, and community service. Before joining Grant Capital, he gained hands-on experience in client service and financial planning while working alongside a Lead Advisor.
Dereck lives in Overland Park with his young son and enjoys staying active through fitness and training at his MMA gym—often alongside his identical twin brother. On weekends, you’ll find him spending time with family and friends, catching live music, or cheering on local teams around the Kansas City area.
